Adopt a Feist / Mixed (short coat)

Bill (male ) and Bernice (female) are a bonded pair of Rat Terrier (perhaps Italian Greyhound?) mix. They are a little older, possibly between 6-9 years old. It's kind of hard to tell age, as some dogs grey in the face early. They must go together they are very bonded, even though they easily mingle with other dogs. They are so, so sweet. Bill particularily will come and lay his head on your lap and seek alot of reassurance, love and petting. Bernice is a little more aloof but on her terms loves affection and has a charming way of trying to play with you.  They are the kind of dogs that just crawl into your heart.  They are kind of funny the could live with cats but are occasionally hostile and will chase. Not sure they can catch or do much damage -as they both had dentals done and alot of their teeth were extracted, but it's something to disclose. They could live with cats, but they sometimes act like it's their job to scare the cat!  They are working on potty training..they were owner surrendered to a pound but didn't seem to be housetrained so we are working on that. They have had full vetted even had a recent dental cleaning and extracting. We are looking for the right home for them, one that can give them lots of affection, something they may have missed out on in their previous life.

They also are dogs that want to sleep on the bed with you, so we're looking for a home that allows this. Will need a patient loving owner, as sometimes they are resistant if they don't want to do something (you might have to pick them up to get them to the door when it's cold outside). They just need some extra patience and TLC. It's not their fault however they had to live previously. They just are very deserving of alot of love, kindness and patience!
